Raffles:

Still going strong at 22, Raffles is also one of the lucky ones, an ex racehorse who has been given a loving home since she retired from racing. Raffles is still leading the way on every hack and enjoys each gallop through the fields that we have. She is the mother of Clover who is now 11 years old and ready to join her on an adventure.

In the distance from Raffles’ and Clover’s field are the Black Mountains, which is where we’re heading on a 100-mile route to raise money for Society for the Welfare of Horses and Ponies based in St. Maughans, Nr Monmouth. Diary entries of our journey including photos will be posted in this online blog. All money raised will go towards the SWHP registered charity no 266247.
